Django is an ambitious project I've ever undertaken. When I decided to do the short film entirely on green screen, I realised that this was going to take some time and effort to create what I envisioned. What I wanted basically was to knock your socks off visually. I chose the spaghetti western genre because growing up it's what my parents fed into my brain every friday and saturday nights when they'd talk about certain films. Naturally I watched anything I could get my hands on. I decided to mesh genres, anime, exploitation/grindhouse, spaghetti western and horror.
I'm currently in post production with Django, have my hands full with visual efx. Once I've completed that will be moving onto editing. i've posted up several scene comparisons for Django, raw to final scene. Plus some production photos. Check out the Django page for the one sheet.
